Fun, inclusivity, and sportsmanship are the name of the game at Ligue Développement DEK Hockey (LDDH), the largest recreational DEK hockey league in Quebec. Since 2010, LDDH has created a safe sports environment for DEK hockey enthusiasts of all ages and physical abilities.
LDDH is a unique league with a lot of heart, focusing on improving each player’s skills and fostering team spirit rather than encouraging competition. A variation of ice hockey, DEK hockey is played indoors on smooth tiles known as “DEK” surfaces. Players wear sneakers instead of skates and play with a no-contact rule, making it a safer and friendlier alternative.
Shining in LDDH’s Signature Colours
LDDH players are game-ready with their very own orange and purple DEK hockey uniforms, which are included when they sign up for any LDDH service.
All of LDDH’s team uniforms are produced by Sportira and designed by our in-house art team. They’re also good for the environment! Made with sustainable fabric REPREVE, a single jersey uses approximately 15 recycled plastic bottles. This goes to show how good sportsmanship extends out of the rink and creates a positive impact on the environment, too.
